I-Train Africa is an impact-focused organization addressing youth unemployment and underemployment in Africa by bridging the gap between formal education and the demands of the 21st-century workforce. Established in 2020, I-Train Africa has reached over 29 million people across 53 countries through its various projects, programs, and campaigns.
The Global Mentorship Conference (GMC), our flagship project, has reached 2.7 million people across its 2021 and 2023 editions. More than 76 speakers from 25 nations have delivered lectures on over 70 topics. The GMC is designed for African youths, women, and professionals who hope to gain clarity and direction, build and belong to global networks, and advance to the top of their careers globally.
Our academy, the Skilled For Work Academy, was established in 2024 with a focus on helping Africans start or advance their careers through the acquisition of in-demand workplace skills needed for global employability.
SheEarns, an empowerment program by I-Train Africa launched in 2025, is a project with a mission to help 500 African women earn a cumulative sum of ₦420 million from the digital economy in 2025.
Our vision is to build an ecosystem of African youths who possess the clarity, information, knowledge, and skills necessary to build the future we desire.
By 2030, our mission is to empower 10 million African youths, women, and professionals with the clarity, skills, and knowledge required to become tech-savvy, globally visible sustainability champions and global citizens.
