Who we are

I-Train Africa is an Edtech startup focused on sustainable development goals (SDGs) 4 (Education) and 8 (Decent work and economic growth). This social enterprise was born owing to the obvious gap in the education that we are being offered in Nigeria and Africa as a whole. This education largely doesn’t meet the needs of the 21st-century workforce.  The obvious disconnect between making youth aware of what they need and the place to get this knowledge per time is the gap I-Train Africa is trying to bridge.  I-Train Africa’s aim is to build the future we want to see in Africa by creating awareness, blueprint programs, and a community where we offer practical 21st-century knowledge and skills that lead to the empowerment of youths.  I-Train Africa has since its inception created different learning series to educate youths on needed life skills. We are currently building a community of/for youth where we educate them about sustainable development goals (SDGs) and how to access global opportunities using their works in the social good space.

Our vision is to build an ecosystem of African youth who have the knowledge and skills to create the future we want.

Our mission is to educate and teach skills that are practical and aligned to the needs of the 21st-century youth.

We aim to achieve our vision by creating ABC:

  • Awareness of the knowledge and skills needed by youth.
  • Blueprint programs on knowledge and skills needed by youth.
  • Community where this knowledge and skills can be found.
